The project involved the complete transformation of the dining room living room and music lounge with the homeowners demanding an interior filled with glitz glamour and a sprinkling of Oriental elements in between all that Art Deco goodness.
Nestled in a bustling urban neighborhood of Mexico embraces this love for raw materials that are allowed to shine through in all their glory even while filling the home with comfort elegance and class. Designed by Taller Estilo Arquitectura it is a natural color palette that steals the spotlight at this Mexican residence!
It is in this context that was shaped by GEMA to provide a relaxing shelter an efficient workspace and a classy gathering spot for growing businesses. The lovely building nestled on the edge of Thi Nghe canal overlooks a lush green park and sits right next to the city’s largest botanical gardens.
There is no lack of color inside this living space with the corner areas being utilized as quiet and comfy reading / conversation zones. Draped in simple neutral hues and warm wooden tones the kitchen and dining space exude a more transitional style with beautiful pendant lighting and skylights illuminating this space evenly.
A ground floor flat spread across different levels the lovely home is blessed with a small private garden and courtyard which extend the living space outdoors. Built in the 1910s the old dark and congested interior of the flat has been completely transformed by doing away with the unwanted internal partitions and giving the townhouse a fresh modern facelift.
A modern residence that is much more than a mere giant ‘cube’ always draws attention as it sets itself apart from the crowd. When it comes to an ingenious street façade that is both elegant and artistic this gorgeous is an absolute winner!
One of the biggest challenges during the design of this multi-level house was both its unique orientation and the flood of sunlight that entered the house because of the giant glass wall that connects the living area with the pool outside.
