It was LLI Design who stepped in to take up the challenge of completely transforming this four-story townhouse into a cheerful and stylish modern hub that complemented the urbane lifestyle of its hip young denizens. And the result is truly spellbinding!
Our love for polished finishes and sleek artificial finishes has seen contemporary design take hold of most urban homes and office spaces in the last two decades. But the cyclic nature of design and decorating means we are once again moving towards interiors filled with natural textures that create a relaxing ambiance.
There is no lack of color inside this living space with the corner areas being utilized as quiet and comfy reading / conversation zones. Draped in simple neutral hues and warm wooden tones the kitchen and dining space exude a more transitional style with beautiful pendant lighting and skylights illuminating this space evenly.
Another facet of the design that lets the classy cabin blend in with the surrounding pine forest is the irrigated green roof. With a dark cedar exterior and a contrasting rough-sewn fir interior this stunning vacation home paints a picture of fascinating contrasts.
