The lower-level living area of the house seems a lot larger than it really is as it flows into the outdoor social zone that is surrounded by a blanket of greenery. On the inside one sees a neutral color scheme with skylights and large windows bringing in an abundance of sunlight adding to the cheerful ambiance. A sculptural staircase that leads to the top floor is surrounded by a wall of books with the vertical space on offer being utilized completely.
It is the top floor that houses the luxurious master suite where the bedroom and bathroom become one visually even as two dashing bronze mirrors above the floating vanity steal the spotlight.
The façade of the house is truly unique with a smart brick wall seamlessly blending in with its more contemporary surroundings. The thick brick wall was as much a functional addition as it was aesthetic with its presence keeping out harsh afternoon sunlight and excessive heat during those really hot summer days.
The architects solved part of this conundrum by creating an that brought a cooling effect to the interior even as a giant curtain was used to block off additional sunlight on really hot days.
It goes without saying that the young owners of this apartment are more than in love with the epic but to translate it into a gorgeous home that is still inviting exciting and unique definitely takes some doing. The open plan living area is filled with a bright yellow couch that provides an otherwise neutral space with plenty of color while Darth Vader masks throw pillows and other action figures from the Star Wars universe instantly reveal the theme of the room.
